All About OverPlay
Products & Pricing
OverPlay's basic subscription is SmartDNS, which allows users access to over 200 channels of streaming content from around the globe. You can pay month to month for $4.95/month, or you can save 16% by signing up for 12 months at a time. SmartDNS works on computers, smartphones, tablets, game consoles and even smart TVs. If it can connect to the internet, it can probably use SmartDNS.
SmartDNS + VPN gives you all of the same streaming options as SmartDNS, but with the added security of an encrypted internet connection. This option allows you to safely stream global content from just about anywhere - including public WiFi hotspots. SmartDNS + VPN costs $9.95/month. You can plan ahead and pay $99.95 for 12 months of coverage and effectively get 2 months free. You can purchase either of their products simply by creating a user account and entering a payment method (either a major credit card or PayPal).
Features & Speed
Customers can connect to any of OverPlay's servers located in more than 50 countries around the world. With so many servers available, users experience fast connection speeds and reliable content streaming. Users can have up to 3 simultaneous connections, so you can enjoy content on multiple devices. You'll appreciate the quality of OverPlay's service as you access content on some of the most popular streaming channels including Netflix, HuluPlus, ESPN, Showtime, HBO Go, and many more. OverPlay lists all of the 200+ channels it offers by country on its website, so you know exactly what you're getting before you sign up.
If you're using their VPN encryption, you can feel confident knowing that all of the personal information you share online - think family pictures, credit card information, and even what websites you visit - is securely encrypted from the prying eyes of hackers and your internet service provider. OverPlay currently implements three different encryption methods: PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP (Layer Two Tunneling Protocol), and OpenVPN.
